1. Infrared thermal module
- Added infrared camera indicators on the Home and File pages.
- Added infrared camera calibration settings.
- Added live infrared preview during scanning, including full-screen viewing.
- Supports taking infrared photos and adding notes of up to 150 characters.
2. New built-in camera
- Added support for the new built-in camera, delivering clearer images and improved overall camera performance.
3. Control point collection by power button
- During scanning, users can now trigger control point collection by double-pressing the scanner’s power button.
- When the red and green lights flash alternately, the collection is successful.
- After completion, the indicator returns to a slow flashing red light.
Improvements
4. Enhanced point cloud interaction in the Scan App
- Improved point cloud interaction on mobile devices after scanning, including viewing, measurement, and settings operations.
5. Improved marked point collection method
- Added Insta360 camera indicators on the Home and File pages.
- Marked points can now be given custom names, making object identification easier in scenarios such as forestry.
- Supports manual names up to 50 characters or automatic naming like “Marked Point 1”.
6. Optimized KML and map functions
- When RTK is connected, real-time walking tracks can be displayed on the map.
- Without RTK, or if the data is abnormal, only the current GPS location will be shown.
Requirements
After upgrading the P2 to this firmware version, the collected data must be processed with the following software versions for mapping:
- New built-in camera data processing:
- Requires Model PC-V207.001 or above
- Requires Model iPad-V1.10
- Requires Model Android Pad-V1.3 or above
- Infrared camera data processing:
- Requires Model PC-V207.001
- Model iPad devices are not supported at this time
